DVD of Conscience and the Constitution. Producer Frank Abe will screen
the film along with a new DVD featurette, "The JACL Apologizes,"
on events that occurred after the film's release, and answer questions.

Islanders will commemorate the 70th anniversary of the first forced
removal of Japanese
Americans in WW2 with "A
Day of History, Honor and Healing.” The day also celebrates
the unique legacy of a community that stood by their Japanese American
friends
and neighbors
and welcomed them home. The screening will be followed by a discussion
with producer/writer Frank Abe, U.W. professor Dr.
Tetsuden Kashima, and Bainbridge Island camp survivors. Download
